About Bike Borderlands
New England's Mountain Biking Destination
TWO NATIONS, FOUR STATES, SIXTEEN DESTINATIONS.
Bike Borderlands is part of a larger effort led by the nonprofit Northern Forest Center to energize rural communities and help more people discover this part of the world, move here, start a business, and Live the New Forest Future.
Explore each of our trail networks, their unique features, and where to grab a bite after your ride. Always check their websites for trail conditions before you visit and check out the new trail maps as they are constantly expanding to include new features and view!

We’ve expanded to four states and sixteen networks since we created this video, but the mission still remains strong. We’re sixteen mountain biking trail networks working together to showcase the great riding in Northern New England, southern Quebec, and now, Northern New York.
Experience the Borderlands
Mountains, rivers, deep forests. The Borderlands includes iconic Franconia Notch in New Hampshire, the rugged Mahoosuc Range in Maine, the farmland of southern Quebec, sugar maple woods of Vermont, and the vast Adirondack Park in New York. From fast and flowy singletrack to old school technical downhill, berms, bridges, and pump tracks, there is something for every rider in the Borderlands.
Much More Than Biking.
This region also offers more to explore beyond mountain bike trails. Swimming holes and state parks if you want to keep playing outside, and when you finally need a break, we have cafés, bakeries, and breweries making some of the best beer in the world.
Ride with Gratitude
When you visit, we ask that you always #RideWithGratitude, both on and off the trail. Being considerate of others and protecting nature helps keep our trails accessible and provides a better experience for recreationists, visitors, and locals.
