Catamount Outdoor Family Center
Description
Founded in 1978 by the McCullough family, the non-profit Catamount Outdoor Family Center manages a year round, all abilities 25 mile trail network for biking, hiking, xc skiing, snowshoeing and fat biking in the now conserved Catamount Community Forest, which is owned by the Town of Williston. COFC also organizes programs, clinics, events and celebrations in the CCF, including the longest running race series in the country and an extensive kids summer camp program. The network is one of the friendliest in VT and features more than 10 miles of adaptive accessible routes, several terrain learning areas and full e-bike use. COFC is currently in the process of permitting a comprehensive trail upgrade plan and a new community building to house operations.
